USB drives can fail quite frequently and are easy to break or lose if you're not careful. The best advice I can give you is to take at least 2 drives with you.
I personally use Sandisk drives, and have found them to be fairly reliable by USB drive standards, but I'm sure other people have their favourites. Most USB drives use FAT-32 by default, so this won't be a problem, and you can easily reformat any drive to one of those file systems if necessary. If you're using Rekordbox on Windows, the USB drive can't be formatted as NTFS as the CDJs won't read NTFS drives. Most USB drives will work, but they MUST be formatted as FAT-32 or HFS+ (case insensitive).
